Conduct tours for the general public at the Command Museum on an as needed basis and to participate in the T-56 Training Program for recruits undergoing
recruit training under the supervision and direction of the Docent Coordinator, MCRD Museum
Historical Society, San Diego. |

1. Honorable Discharge.
2. Service in the Marine Corps or with Navy as an FMF Corpsman or Chaplain.
3. Combat service preferred but not required.
4. Three hour weekly commitment for T-56 Docent Program.
5. Teaching ability and communication skills.
6. Satisfactorily complete 4 week (32 hour) Docent Training Program.
7. Provide a copy of current DD 214 (Release from Active Duty).
8. Submit a narrative biography of military service.
9. Submit to a background investigation.
10. Adhere to conservative grooming and attire standards. |
